IBF strawweight champion Muhammad Rachman (60-5-5, 30 KOs) will defend his title on Saturday against mediocre contender Senjie Sorolla (21-10-3, 6 KOs) of the Phillipines at the Indoor Tennis Senayan Stadium, Jakarta, Indonesia. This will be the second clash of both Southeast Asians after 2002 when Sorolla was defeated by unanimous decision with two knockdowns, also in Jakarta. Sorolla told the press that he’s made progress in his boxing skill and he’ll perform differently to shock Rachman and his fans in his hometown. Replying to this, Rachman said, “Insya Allah (if God consents) I will knock him out before the fifth round!” Promoted by Suryo Goeritno, Ray Wheatley (Australia) will be the third man in the ring.
