HustleBoss.com was on hand inside of the David Copperfield Theater inside of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada during the final press conference ahead of this weekend?s big heavyweight title showdown.
On Saturday night, Jan. 17, WBC heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne (24-1-1, 21 KO?s) will tangle with the trash-talking Deontay Wilder (32-0, 32 KO?s) inside of the casino?s Garden Arena in a Showtime Championship Boxing telecast.
There has been back and forth talk between the two camps, from Wilder?s endless rants based on degrading his Haitian counterpart, to Stiverne?s claims that he has seen Wilder get dropped in sparring and possibly worse.
During Thursday?s final presser, it was again Wilder who seemed eager to get a rise out of the press as well as Stiverne with another salvo that last ten-plus minutes while the modest yet confident champion simply minded his business before it was his turn to take the dais.
Following the presser, the two men locked eyes in a heated exchange that lasted several minutes. Neither man wanted to give an inch and you can sense that both pugilists truly believe in their abilities.
The time for talk is almost over and with so much firepower coming from both sides I just don?t see how this fight can disappoint.
