Morales confident of victory

ERIK Morales will enter the ring on November 18 against Manny Pacquiao as the awful underdog, but the Mexican warrior isn’t worried a bit at all.

Morales said he does not mind what observers or the so-called boxing analysts would say as long as he knows only one thing and that is to come out victorious come fight night.

The Mexican fighter was bold enough to say he is going to beat Pacquiao during a workout at the Top Rank Gym in Las Vegas Wednesday, or three days before he squares off with Pacquiao for the third installment of their epic boxing trilogy.

Facing the press, Morales said he will avenge his humiliating defeat to Pacquiao last January, where he visited the canvass two times on the way to losing a 10th round TKO.

And with Morales picking the Cleto Reyes gloves this time, the Pacquiao camp believes that the Mexican warrior will go for an early KO.

Pacquiao, meanwhiled, held a workout a Tuesday at the exclusive IBA gym in Las Vegas.

The Filipino fighter allowed the press to witness his training and vowed to win this one and finish off Morales’s career.

“I take all my fights seriously, but I know that Morales is really wanting to win, and I know that he will try his hardest to win, so I’m always prepared,” Pacquiao told fightnews.com.
