Boxing Results at Quiet Cannon

In the first of three boxing 4-rounders last Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Quiet Cannon Country Club in Montebello, California, Irving Garcia knocked out Jose de Jesus Rosel at 1:52 of the first round in a Welterweight bout. The second bout saw Lightweight Allan Benitez winning by a majority decision over fellow Mexican Carlos Morales, with scores of 39-38 twice, and 38-38. And in the third and final boxing match, hulking Marvin Campos eked out a close but unanimous decision over Samoan Fa'Amanu Pritchard, with all three judges turning in identical scores of 38-37. The Boxing matches served as main event for All Star Boxing Promotions 2012 year opener and triple treat presentation, which included Muay Thai and Mixed Martial Arts. The event was sanctioned by the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) with Sid Segovia as the Supervisor and Lead Inspector.
