Jafarov, Lukas, Kittipong, Hawton, Purcell Score KO Wins in Highland Show in Thailand

BANGKOK, Thailand – A festival of knockouts thrilled fans during the exciting Brico Santig’s Highland Boxing show Thursday, April 25, at the starry SpacePlus Night Club, RCA Plaza, in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand.

In the main event, Azerbaijan power-punching cruiserweight Taryel Jafarov (28-7, 26 KO's) from the City of Qazakh brutalized brave Indonesian warrior King Fahd (aka Fadh Adityo Oscar) for a round one TKO win to become the new WBF (World Boxing Federation) Cruiserweight champion.

The referee for the WBF battle was Sipho Ndongeni of South Africa.


Knockout artist Taryel Jafarov (C) of Azerbaijan made short work of Indonesia's King Fahd with a first round TKO.


Angelina Lukas (L) of Kazakhstan pours on against Mamta Singh of India winning by stoppage to claim the WBF super flyweight title.

In the co-feature, cute fighting girl “Barbie” Angelina Lukas (9-1, 5 KO’s) from the beautiful region of the Talas River in Southern Kazakhstan, launched persistent body attack over tough Indian woman warrior Mamta Singh (5-2, 2 KO’s), stopping her to claim the vacant WBF Super Flyweight belt.

Angelina wants more than anything a shot at the world crown in the 115-pound weight-class.


Heavyweight Herman Ene-Purcell of Australia made a successful return by knocking out Thailand's Tanapat Vibulsuk.

In heavyweights, "The Herminator" Herman Ene-Purcell returned to the squared ring after a 3-year hiatus, looking sharp and lethal, scoring a super fast & furious round one TKO victory over Thailand's big-hearted warrior Tanapat Vibulsuk of the Manopchai Gym.


Hing Tin Chan of Hong Kong wins over Wisuta Singmanatsak of Thailand.

In more women's action, unbeaten Hong Kong fighting lady Hing Tin Chan (6-0, 2 KO's) defeated by unanimous decision brave Thai combatant Wisuta Singmanatsak Gym to claim the vacant Female WBA Asia Light Flyweight strap.

Supervisor for the WBA was Won Kim of the Republic of Korea.


Australia's Luisa Hawton notches her 11th win with a stoppage victory of Thailand's Arisara Wisetwongsa.

In yet another girls battle, former 2-division world champion "Bang Bang Lulu" Louisa Hawton (11-2, 6 KO's) of Perth, Australia, climbed up to the ring after a three-year absence to stop cute 21-year-old former Muy Thai combatant Arisara Wisetwongsa.

The far more skilled and experienced “Lulú” Hawton really taught a boxing lesson to Arisara, knocking her out with ease.


Kittipong Jian Hao Ho of Singapore wins over Tanawat Ketsiri of Thailand.

In more action, 168-pound slugger Kittipong Jian Hao Ho (7-1-1, 6 KO's) from "The Lion City," Singapore, fast sized up and obliterated his brave 20-year-old foe Tanawat Ketsiri (17-14, 13 KO's) of Thailand's Manopchai Gym,

With his victory the handsome and polite 26-year-old Singaporean captures the vacant ABF Super Middleweight Belt, and willing to press forward his promising boxing career with tougher missions in 2024 and beyond.


Xinqiang Zha (L) of China wins over Sunthorn Singmanatsakgym of Thailand.

In lightweights, unbeaten Xinqiang Zhao (4-0, KO's) from beautiful Yunnan Province in Southwestern China, deleted from the map Sunthorn Singmanatsakgym for a non-title triumph.

The 22-year-old Zhao looked sharp and devastating, wanting to get back inside the ropes for more challenging rumbles as soon as possible.

In another bout, Australian, by way of Liberia, "Hot Chili" Victor Nagbe (8-1, 3 KO's) vaporized 25-year-old Rattawut Thongaram (5-1, 4 KO"s) of Thailand to claim the vacant WBC Asia Continental Middleweight Title.

The entertaining 8-bout pro boxing event at the SpacePlus Night Club, RCA Plaza in Bangkok, Thailand, was a production of Supanat Chanram and Brico Santig for Highland Boxing Promotions.
