NBA -- A new Marshall in Milwaukee

WAUNAKEE -- After being released by the Los Angeles Lakers last July 19, Kendall Marshall quickly found a new home when the Milwaukee Bucks claimed him off the waivers the following day.

The Lakers valued Marshall's talents and had hope to actually pick him up from the waivers. They released him only to clear some cap space. But Milwaukee beat the Lakers to it.

The 22-year-old Marshall is entering his third year in the league after the Phoenix Suns drafted him with the 13th pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. He played reasonably well with the Lakers last season, averaging 8 points, 8.8 assists, and 2.9 rebounds per game.

Marshall will join fellow point guard Brandon Knight in Milwaukee to form a young, talented group of court leaders. He will also be reunited with former North Carolina teammate power forward John Henson.

The terms of Marshall's contract have not been disclosed. (NO)
