MGM GRAND GARDEN ARENA, LAS VEGAS -- The undercard fights of the much-awaited Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley WBO welterweight championship get underway here tonight and below are the results:
In the 4th bout, Oleksandr Gvozdyk, on his pro debut, KO'd Mike Montoya (4-3-0, 2KO) of Colorado Springs, CO, with a booming right cross. Time 2:55 of round 1 (below photo).

In the third bout of the night, Oscar Valdez (9-0-0, 9KO) of Nogales, MX, broke down Adrien Perez (10-5-1, 1KO) of Sarasota FL, with body shots and finally KO'd him at 1:23 of Round 4. (top photo)

In the second bout, Brazil Ex-Olympian Esquivia Falcon (2-0-0, 1KO) won his second career fight at the expense of Publio Pena (2-2-0, 1KO) of Providence RI via a clear unanimous decision. Scores are 60-54, 60-54 and 60-53.
In the opening bout, Sean Monaghan (21-0-0, 14KO) (R, above photo) of Long Beach, NY won by TKO in Round 5 over Joe MCreedy (15-7-2, 6KO) of Lowell, MA. Mcreedy was down in round 3 twice and in round 5 before Referee Jay Nady stops the fight at 2:25 of round 5. Monaghan keeps the WBC intercontinental America light heavyweight title.
