NBA -- Gasol's return sparks Grizzlies over Thunder

SAN FRANCISCO -- Seven weeks after being sidelined by an MCL sprain, center Marc Gasol returned to the line-up Tuesday night and helped the Memphis Grizzlies score a season-high matching three games in a row.

Gasol made 3-of-7 field goals for 12 points in 24 minutes in Memhpis' 90-87 win over the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder at the Fed-Ex Forum. Gasol also grabbed four rebounds.

"I got the goose bumps for about a minute, or two minutes. I felt like I was a rookie again, even better than that. Today was a special day for me, but we move on. Right now, we're thinking about Milwaukee," Gasol told NBA.com.

Courtney Lee led Memphis with 24 points and Mike Conley ran the offense with 19 points and seven assists. Zach Randolph turned in 23 and 13 rebounds and the Grizzlies improved to 18-19.

Kevin Durant finished with 37 points and Reggie Jackson added 17, but it wasn't enough as the Thunder made only 33 of 81 field goals and only 5-for-21 from 3-point territory. Oklahoma dropped to 28-10. (RM)
