Philippine light flyweight champion Jerson Mancio of the ALA Gym faltered in his second attempt to win the Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) lt.flyweight title when he lost by fifth round TKO to Naoya Inoue of Japan in a fight held tonight in Tokyo. The fight was stopped when Mancio was floored at 2:51 of the round.
Mancio previously lost to Ryo Miyazaki by 4th round KO in 2011 in his first attempt to win the OPBF title. Mancio drops to 18-4-3, 9 KO's while Inoue, the Japanese lt.flyweight titlist, goes up to 5-0, 4KO's.
