INDIANAPOLIS -- With their season on the line this Saturday night, the Indiana Pacers are trailing the defending champions Miami Heat, 40-39, at halftime in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals here at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Four-time MVP LeBon James is leading all scorers with 14 points. He also has five rebounds and four assists. Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh are non-factors for Miami so far with just a combined four points on 1-for-10 shooting from the filed. But relief point guard Norris Cole has nine markers and the Heat are 7-for-9 from the 3-point arc and 16-of-43 overall.
Paul George paces the Pacers with 13 points while 7-foot-2 center Roy Hibbert also 13 with five rebounds. George Hill has seven points and a pair of assists for Indiana which made only 16 of 40 shots total and 2-of-5 from 3-point range.
The Heat are leading this best-of-7 series 3-2. Game 7, if necessary, is Monday night at the American Airlines Arena in Miami. (JZ)
