LAS VEGAS--Filipino Bernabe Concepcion's fight with undefeated Mexican Joksan Hernandez will now push through on Saturday as one of the undercards to the 'Grand Finale' card at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.
The 10-round bout will be for the WBC Youth superbantamweight championship, and will take place right after the Pacquiao-Morales fight.
There was a cloud of uncertainty hanging over the Concepcion-Hernandez fight yesterday when it was announced it had to be rescheduled from its original schedule on Thursday underneath the Bobby Pacquiao-Hector Velazquez showdown.
"This is good for Concepcion. The Saturday card gives him more exposure," said Rex 'Wakee' Salud, who coordinated the fight with Top Rank.
This morning, at the Lafite Ballroom of the majestic Wynn Las Vegas, the final card has been distributed to mediamen, with the Concepcion-Hernandez bout already included.
Top Rank, through SFE PR, also distributed today the temporary credentials for mediamen covering the event, with the final credential set to be given out on fight day.
