Just moments ago, both OPBF welter champ Kazuhiko Hidaka and challenger Rev Santillan of the Philippines officially made weight at the final weigh-in in Tokyo supervised by the Japan Boxing Commission.
Both tipped the scales at 147 lbs in advance of tomorrow's 12-round rumble at the famed Korakuen Hall.
Santillan aims to regain the title he lost to Hidaka early this year, while the Japanese hopes to successfully defend his title for the second time after thwarting Dondon Sultan earlier.
Rex "Wakee" Salud, Santillan's manager, will be at ringside tomorrow to cheer for his boy.
