SUICO, THAI WEIGH-IN TOMORROW AT SALUD GYM

CEBU--The official weigh-in ahead of Wednesday's (April 27) Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) title showdown happens at 1PM tomorrow at the newly-built Wakee Salud Gym in Labangon.

This was announced by promoter Rex "Wakee" Salud, who said that all protagonists will be present for tomorrow's weigh-in, which will also serve as the inauguration of his well-furnished boxing gym.

Games and Amusements Board boxing division chief Emmanuel "Noli" Flores, who will supervise tomorrow's hostilities, will also oversee tomorrow's weigh-in together with officials of GAB-7.

The dynamite-fisted Suico will stake his OPBF crown for the fourth time against the very dangerous Muangfahlek Kiatwichean in a 12-round war headlining the "Kadaugan sa Mactan 3" card.

Reigning Ring Magazine featherweight king Manny Pacquiao and GAB chairman Eric Buhain are slated to grace the Suico-Kiatwichean showdown. Also set to attend are GAB Commissioners Angel Bautista and Alex Paglumotan.

In the chief support, WBA no. 1 strawweight Yukka Gejon of Wakee Salud Stable takes on Thailand's Namchai Thaksinisan in a 10-round non-title appearance. Gejon is set to vie for the WBA title sometime late this year.

Other bouts pit Louie Bantigue against William Macas (8 rds); Gabriel Pumar versus Emer Barrientos (8 rds); Alex Aroy against Allan Dugang 8 rds); Apol Suico versus Dodong Salde (4 rds); Jomar Matbagon against Alvin Mundala (4 rds) and Bryan Rosal versus Jun Canamo (4rds).
