THE slated rematch between Eman “The Future” Bacosa Pacquiao of Tagum City and Rodelyn Perez of Zamboanga Sibugay will now be a title match on June 21 at the DRP Sports Complex in Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City.
“It will now be a title-match for the vacant PBF lightweight championship,” said promoter Dave Almario of DS Almario Promotions.
It will be an 8-round title-fight for the main event.
“The championship belt will be donated by Kapitan Gerry Teves,” said Almario.
The fight is billed as “Bakbakan sa Putatan’ with Art Monis as the matchmaker.
The 22-year-old Pacquiao [8-1-1, 5KOs] won by a majority decision over Perez [5-4-0, 4KOs] in their first fight last October 20, 2024 at the Okada Manila Hotel and Casino in Paranaque City.
