Malaya Vibrations to play gig at 5th MFPI Mindanao Summit

MALAYA Vibrations, the hottest local reggae band from Davao City is playing a gig in the 5th Mountaineering Federation of the Philippines Inc. [MFPI] Mindanao Summit on February 19 to 22 at the Mt. Apo in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.

“We bring the vibe, you bring the crowd. Let’s get it!” said band leader Chester Teng Mamacang of Malaya Vibrations

The other members are Dads A. Bueno, Zanie John, Robert Cagadas Nayre and Johny Bee.

Idiya Nale, Manuella Rose and Joey Facts are handling the management.

“Let's reconnect with earth and nature and add some reggae music in the evening,” said Mamacang.

The band will start playing at 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 21.

There will be two events in the summit – a Mt. Apo Climb and a Basic Mountaineering Course [BMC] Training with certificate.

The BMC will be held at the Bagobo-Tagabawa Cultural Village in Tibolo, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.

The registration of the member for Mt. Apo climb is P3,300 while for non-member is P3,500 while the BMC for members is P1,100 each and non-members is P1,300.

CARE Group Davao Sur Mountaineering Club led by its president Rowena “Weng” Pacaldo is hosting this event with MFPI in partnership with the Local Government of Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.
