Kevin Durant sets new NBA record

Legendary Houston Rockets player Kevin Durant set an NBA record in Sunday's 121-101 victory over the Utah Jazz, surpassing Hall of Famer Alex English for the most field goals made.

Durant scored 25 points, shooting 10-for-14 from the field, including 3-for-4 from three-point range, while also adding six rebounds, four assists, three steals, and one block. The Rockets have won six of their last seven games. This marks the third time Durant has scored more than 30 points in November.

Durant is averaging 24.6 points on 48.5% shooting from the field, 36.4% from three-point range, 4.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.0 steals in the 2025-2026 season.
