VINCE Paras of General Santos City failed in his bid against IBO World super flyweight champion Ricardo Malajika of South Africa last November 29 at the Emperors Palace in Kempton Park.
Malajika won by a unanimous decision for his fourth title defense.
Paras, who is the IBF Pan Pacific super flyweight champion, suffered his fourth loss against 24 wins and one draw.
The 27-year-old Malajika improved his record to 17 wins with 12 knockouts and two loses.
Malajika also earlier won the vacant title by a 5th round technical knockout against Paras’ stablemate Jayson Mama last August 9 in Emperors Palace.
