Bacosa connects at Salado.
EMMANUEL Joseph “Eman” Bacosa of Tagum City scored a unanimous decision against Bohol’s Nico Salado Wednesday night, October 29 held at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
The 21-year-old Bacosa, who now resides in General Santos City, knocked down Salado in the 4th round after throwing stinging jabs.
Bacosa kept his punches until the 6th round to keep Salado at bay.
The judges scored 60-53, 60-53 and 58-55 all in favor of Bacosa.
It was the first bout of the Thrilla in Manila 2 50th Anniversary promoted by International Hall of Famer Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao.
The 5-foot-1o Bacosa is also the son of Pacquiao. [Lito delos Reyes]
