REYMARK “Lucky Boy’” Alicaba of Digos City will fight Namchai Dilokpraphuek of Thailand for the WBC Asian Continental super flyweight title on October 29 at the Nakhon Sawan in Thailand.
The 25-year-old Alicaba [10-8-0, 8KOs] is now training at the Highland Boxing Gym in Bangkok under trainer Frank Jaro.
“I will rely on my current training,” said Alicaba.
Alicaba recently stopped Akarapon Dada of Thailand in the 1st round last September 13 at the Highland Boxing in Bangkok.
Alicaba, however, lost in his first fight in Thailand by a unanimous decision to Namchai Dikokpaphuek for the ABF bantamweight title last August 27 at Rangsit International Stadium in Rangsit.
“I have gained confidence with my trainer and also with my manager now,” said Alicaba.
His manager is promoter Brico Santig, a Filipino, who is married to Thai.
Meanwhile, super bantamweight Carlo Demecillo [18-11-2, 10KOs] of Cebu City will face Tasana “Petch CP Freshmart” Salapat [78-2-0, 54KOs] of Thailand for the WBC Asian bantamweight title in the main event.
Piyarat Vachirarattanawong of Petpiya Fight is promoting the fights.
