Ariston Aton.
ORTHODOX Ariston “Double A” Aton of Lapu-Lapu City will face Richard Garde of Cotabato on February 16 at the Elorde Gym in Tulip Drive, Matina, Davao City.
Aton is training under former WBC Youth World and WBC Asian light flyweight champion Armando dela Cruz of Bohol.
“Since 2022, I don’t have a manager,” said Aton [9-13-1, 5KOs].
He left the Quibors Boxing Stable in Cavite under manager Orlando Borcelango.
Aton won the Luzon Professional Boxing Association [LuzProBA] light flyweight title by stopping Erbie Mino Jr. last July 20, 2019 in Bacoor.
Aton, who is now residing in Cagayan de Oro City, turned 25 last January 23.
“I’m excited to fight again. I hope to score an upset win against Garde,” said Aton, who is now 51 kilograms.
Aton is set to arrive in Davao on February 14, Valentine’s Day.
“He’s a good boxer and I will try hard to beat him and give him the best,” said Atom.
The Aton-Garde fight is the main event of Davao Ultimate Knockout Challenge [DUKC] Promotions under promoter Alfie Angelo Jonsay.
