WBA world-ranked 26-year-old junior middleweight Uzbek prospect Israil Madrimov (6-0, 5KOs) is recovering positively from the surgery performed on his left shoulder about three months ago.
"Rehabilitation after surgery a couple of months ago is fine and I am looking forward to the start of training camp and I hope to return to the ring in April or May," Madrimov said.
Madrimov sustained the injury in the WBA knockout bout when he defeated Eric Walker (20-3, 9KOs) by unanimous decision on August 15 of last year at a MatchRoom Boxing event in Oklahoma.
