BARDON WINS IN JAPAN!

Former OPBF flyweight champion Jojo Bardon took care of business in Japan with a first round stoppage of hard-punching Yuki Nasu in front of a stunned crowd at the famed Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.

Japan's boxing scholar Joe Koizumi reported that Bardon used his blitzkrieg and dropped the Japanese fighter two times before the referee intervened at the 2:08 mark of the first round.

Bardon used a well-timed left hook to send Nasu kissing the canvas for the first time, and followed it up with a flurry to send his opponent down for the second time.

The Filipino fighter then swarmed all over Nasu prompting the referee to stop the carnage.

Bardon is hoping to get yet another crack at his old OPBF title.
