NBA -- LeBron fires 46 as Cavs bounce back in Game 2

CLEVELAND. LeBron James exploded for 46 points and the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Indiana Pacers, 100-97, in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference quarter-finals on Wednesday night at the Quicken Loans Arena.

After a slow start in Game 1's 98-80 loss, LeBron opened Game 2 by scoring his team's first 16 points and the Cavaliers rushed to a 33-18 lead after one quarter. James also had 12 rebounds and five assists.

Kevin Love finished with 15 and 8 rebounds while Kyle korver had 12 as Cleveland made 37 of 73 field goals and 11 of 28 triples.

Love suffered a thumb injury late but he will suit up for Game 3 this Friday at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Victor Oladipo, who got two fouls in the first 62 seconds of play, led Indiana with 22. But he missed a wide open 3 that would have tied the score at 95 with 27.5 seconds to go.

"I got a clean look. I shot and I just missed," Oladipo said after the game.

Myles Turner and Darren Collison combined for 34 points in Indiana's losing effort.
