NBA -- The King earns another milestone

CLEVELAND -- LeBron James reached another milestone on Wednesday night at the Quicken Loans Arena where he suited up in the Cavaliers' 110-98 loss to the New York Knicks, marking the first time in his 15 year-NBA career that he appeared in all 82 games of a season.

As the playoffs loom in the corner, James played just 10 minutes and 33 seconds in a meaningless game that had no bearing in the overall standings, but he scored 10 points to extend his double-digit scoring steak to 873 games. With a 50-32 record, the Cavaliers earned the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference and will play the fifth-seeded Indiana Pacers (48-34) in the opening round, a best-of-7 affair that begins on Sunday (Monday AM Philippine time).

In James' absence, the Cavaliers were led by John Holland who had 21 points while Ante Zizic added 20. Cedi Osman finished with 18 points and 7 boards for the Cavs, who made only 39.4 percent of their shots while converting just 6-of-24 from long distance..

Try Burke was the main man for the Knicks with 19 points and 9 assists.Frank Ntilikina had 16 while Michael Beasley contributed 12 markers.

New York, which was eliminated from the playoffs and finished with a disappointing 28-53 card, shot 50.6 percent from the field and 44.4 percent from beyond the the 3-point arc.
