NBA -- Bucks succumb to too much Thunder, 110-91

M​ILWAUKEE​-- The ​visiting Oklahoma City Thunder employed a well-balanced offense that allowed them to handle the host Milwaukee Bucks, 110-91, on Tuesday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Paul George ​was at the forefront of that ​impressive assault, sinking four triples to finish with 20 points. Carmelo Anthony and Jerami Grant joined the fray with 17 points apiece while reigning NBA MVP Russell Westbrook narrowly missed a triple-double with 12 points, 10​rebounds​ and 9​ assists​.

Giannis Antetokounmpo was great for the Bucks with 28 points but no ​none of his fellow Bucks scored in double figures as Rashad Vaughn and Thon Maker only had 9 apiece while Johnson drilled in 8.

​The Thunder ​raced to ​a 31-23 lead after the opening quarter ​before increasing their cushion to 50-32 at halftime. ​OKC made 40 of 81 field goals and 12 of 20 triples while Milwaukee settled for just 32 of 76 form the field and 9-of-30 from 3-point distance.

Photo: Even with just 26 minutes and 35 seconds of play, Russell Westbrook showed his MVP form by nearly notching a triple-double.
