NBA -- "Greek Freak" powers Bucks past Lakers, 108-101

MILWAUKEE ​ ​- ​Giannis "The Greek Freak" Antetokounmpo stole the spectacle of Kobe Bryant's final game in Milwaukee by leading the Bucks to a 108-101 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers before a sold-out crowd of ​18,717​ on Tuesday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.​

Antetokounmpo finished​ with 27 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists​ while ​Khris Middleton chipped in 18​ ​as seven Milwaukee players finished ​with​ double figures​ in points​.

Nick Young led the Lakers with 19 points while​​ ​​Kobe and young guard Jordan Clarkson contributed 15 apiece.

The Bucks got off to a pretty fast start, thanks ​ to some monstrous dunks from Giannis and Miles Plumlee​, but t​he Lakers cut the lead to ​two​ off of back-to-back-to-back ​3s​ by Clarkson in the second quarter.

Kobe had a vintage step ​back ​3​ in the quarter t​hat made​ the crowd go insane, but Giannis and Plumlee dominated t​o help the Bucks take 54-48 advantage at the break.​

Milwaukee exploded in the third quarter and ​extend​ed its lead to 25. ​The Lakers bench outscored the Bucks 36-18 in the final quarter, but the home team held on to win​.​

Kobe sat out the whole fourth quarter, but did receive a nice ovation before and after the contest, as well as a video tribute.

Milwaukee will try to carry their momentum to Boston Thursday night as they take on the surging Celtics, while Kobe and

​the Lakers ​visit the Grizzlies in Memphis on Wednesday night.
