NBA Playoffs -- Rockets fend off elimination, take Game 4, 128-115

HOUSTON -- The Houston Rockets survived elimination by beating the Golden State Warriors, 128-115, on Monday night at the Toyota Center.

Game 5 is Wednesday night (Thursday AM in Manila) at the Oracle Arena where the Warriors, leading 3-1, hopes to close out the best-of-7 Western Conference Finaks.

John Smith scored 13 of his 20 points in the opening quarter where the Rockets raced to a 45-22 bulge. Smith's three 3s set the tone for Houston, which is seeking to become th eonly team in NBA playoffs history to rebound from a 3-0 deficit.

"We just gotta take it one game at a time and focus on the next game and focus on what we need to do to get off to a good start on the next game" Smith said.

James Harden led the Rockets with 45 points 5 assists and 9 boards.

"Thats how it always is. I always wanna take it out on my opponents in a good way, so just being aggressive taking shots, taking it to the basket not forcing anything and just allowing the game come to me" Harden told reporters.

Trevor Ariza finished with 17 points while Dwight Howard added 14 markers and 22 boards.

Steph Curry had a low scoring night with 23 points for the Warriors.
