RING TALK RADIO SHOW CELEBRATES 30 YEARS ON AIR PhilBoxing.com Thu, 02 Oct 2014 San Francisco, CA- What started as a 15-minute show between a Filipino program and a Christian show has morphed into the longest running show in boxing and MMA history as ?Ring Talk Worldwide? celebrated 30 years of radio presence September 15. For ?Ring Talk? host Pedro Fernandez, a four-time Golden Gloves champ and the reigning, defending, undisputed heavyweight champion of the radio airwaves, September 2014 has been a roller coaster of sorts. First the completion of three decades of radio and then Sirius XM Satellite Radio asks to air a two-hour edition of ?Ring Talk.? No sooner had the ink dried on the Sirius deal when I Heart Radio, which has been carrying Pedro on a delayed basis, will now carry ?Ring Talk? live every Saturday for an hour and Sunday for two hours, both at 11 AM PT, thus I Heart now carry three hours of ?Ring Talk? LIVE as well as their continuing to air Pedro 24-7 on a delayed basis. Beginning Monday at 5 PM PT, ?Ring Talk? debuts on Sirius XM Radio Channel 83 for two hours. In all, ?Ring Talk? a Sports Byline Network Production airs on Sports Byline, I Heart, Sirius XM Satellite #83, the American Forces Network, in addition to 20 Internet platforms that include ITunes, Stitcher and TuneIn.com NEW & DIFFERENT SATURDAY NIGHT SHOW! This September to remember for Pedro Fernandez includes his teaming with Zack Young as the new co-hosts of the Sports Overnight America Weekend Edition program that begins at 10 PM PT Saturdays and airs on all the above networks. Fernandez, a former San Francisco Policeman credits newsman Colin Seymour, the late Hall of Fame writer Jack Fiske, Ron Wong, Historian Ron Marshall, current Producer Scott Cutty and Attorney Mark Risman, in addition to Sports Byline founder Ron Barr and Network President Darren Peck for what Pedro feels is a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records as host of the ?longest running fight show in history.? Fernandez recalls what his late mother Carole Ramirez once told the Oakland Tribune reporter after a major win. ?My son?s the champion again and it isn?t bragging to say he?s the best at a lot more than just boxing.?
