TAPALES WINS IN JAPAN

Bantamweight prospect Marlon Tapales won his fight in Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Japan against Kayato Kimura by technical decision in the 6th round. His Japanese opponent was cut on the right eye with Tapales ahead on points. Tapales, who won the WBO Asia-Pacific bantamweight title last year, moves up to 24-2, 9KO?s while Kimura drops to 21-6, 15KO?s.
Mark Gil Melligen won by TKO in the 5th round against his Thai opponent Bualang Onesonghai gym.
