THE PACQUIAO-BRADLEY DISPUTE (PART I) By Maloney L. Samaco PhilBoxing.com Wed, 26 Mar 2014 Eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao and WBO world welterweight champion Timothy Bradley will face each other for a rematch this coming April 12. Hopefully it will erase the stigma of their first fight, considered as one of the most controversial if not the most disputed boxing decision in modern fistfight history. Former heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis tweeted: "Unbelievable! #PacBradley This is another stain on boxing. Even worse than my draw with Holyfield! #Disgraceful." Amir Khan said on Twitter: "What a robbery. Bradley did not win this fight. The crowd are booing while he's being interviewed." Khan added another tweet: "What a joke we had Manny winning by 5 rounds. Bradley how about you take the fight with me in December after I clean up the 140lbs weight." Judge CJ Ross (115-113 for Bradley) gave rounds 2, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 to Bradley; rounds 1, 3, 4, 6 and 9 to Pacquiao. Judge Duane Ford (115-113 for Bradley) gave rounds 1, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 to Bradley; rounds 2, 3, 4, 6 and 11 to Pacquiao.
