MEXICAN OPPONENTS OF BANAL AND FUENTES ARRIVING TONIGHT FOR PINOY PRIDE XIII PhilBoxing.com Tue, 20 Mar 2012  AJ Banal. The Mexican boxing warriors that will be featured in the upcoming Pinoy Pride XIII boxing mega series of ALA Promotions and ABS-CBN Sports will be arriving tonight. Team Raul Hidalgo and Team Javier ?El Chivero? Franco both of Mexico will be landing at the Mactan Cebu International Airport on board flight PR 855 at 945 PM tonight with Mexican Team Trainer Franco Herrera. In a translated interview Hidalgo said ?My Team and I are very excited for this bout. Us Mexicans always fight to win and I will make sure to win in any way possible. I hope to excite the fans when they come to watch us fight this Saturday.? Raul Hidalgo is scheduled to challenge Filipino and reigning WBO Asia Pacific Bantamweight Champ AJ Banal of the Philippines for his title in the main event of this Pinoy Pride event. Banal is currently number 1 in the world with the WBO and is looking to challenge for a world title this year. Franco who is scheduled to meet reigning OPBF Flyweight Champion Rocky Fuentes in the main undercard and said ?I have heard that the Philippines is a great country with great fighters. I will do what I can to give a grand performance for the fans to remember. I will be going for the win.? The Mexican?s will be featured 11 AM tomorrow Thursday March 22, 2012 at the final and Official Pinoy Pride XIII: Road to Glory Press Conference at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino. The Mexican fighters will be joined by Thai fighter Phupha Por Nobnuo who is scheduled to face Prince Albert Pagara of the Philippines.
