Tagbilaran City ? The outcome of the main event was expected and a lot of people were relieved that it was finally over. Fans did not get to see the Genaro Garcia that was advertised and billed as a tough test for Rey ?Boom Boom? Bautista.

What they saw was a Mexican who was obviously scared and couldn?t punch. He had no business fighting inside the ring opposite the popular hometown boy.

But the fans who gathered at the Carlos P. Garcia Sports Complex - estimated to be more than the 30,000, bigger than the crowd that saw AJ Banal vs Big Yoo two years ago - managed to give a polite applause and still enjoyed the entire fight card.

The lack of action in the opening round made the crowd restless. In the second, two hooks sent Garcia down. He managed to get up but a short right sent him down for good. Referee Bruce McTavish counted him out at the 1:24 mark.

SERVANIA SHOWS CLASS VS. OTIENO

In the third, life turned briefly sour for Servania when Otieno staggered him in close quarter exchanges. Servania managed to weather the barrage but Otieno took the round.

Servania began to jab and use the ring. He began to pile up the points and had chances to finish Otieno near the end of the 7th and 9th rounds. The Kenyan hung tough but it was Servania who gave a boxing clinic until the final bell. The scores 99-91, 98-92 and 98-92.

PAGARA PUMMELS YARANGGA

Jason ?El Ni?o? Pagara returned to the win column with a second round TKO win over Indonesian Frans ?Hands of Stone? Yarangga. Pagara sent Yarangga down with a sharp one-two combo in the first round. In the second, Pagara knocked the Indonesian down thrice prompting the stoppage at the 2:41 mark.
