LAZARTE PRESSCON UPDATES By Rene Bonsubre, Jr. PhilBoxing.com Thu, 09 Feb 2012 Johnriel Casimero and Luis Alberto Lazarte had a friendly meeting today during the press conference held at the Hotel 15 de Diciembre in Mar de Plata, Argentina. Promoter Sammy Gello-ani informed philboxing that prior to the press conference Team Casimero met Lazarte at the lobby and he introduced them to his family who were with him. ?Lazarte?s eldest son is 22 years old, next is 13 yrs and the youngest is 11 months old. Casimero was amused to hear that Lazarte?s eldest son is just as young as him.? Gello-ani said in his e-mail. During the presscon one of the media asked Casimero if the age of Lazarte is an advantage for him and he answered: "Yes it is an advantage for me ...but I will not be banking on that since he was a former world champion and he has a lot of experience in world championships. I will not be overconfident in this fight .I will gauge him how he works on the early rounds and do what will be the best option... If I can find an opening in early rounds I will do everything to finish the fight.....If not ---I am ready to slug for 12 rounds and who knows Fathers Time is just around the corner and it will be of my advantage" "El Mosquito" Lazarte admitted too that he has the advantage because the fight is held in his homeplace, however he is not taking Casimero lightly he being a former World Interim Champion too and still very young. The official weigh in will be held tomorrow Feb. 09 at Hotel 15 de Diciembre at 3.30 pm. (Argentina Time) to be covered by TyC Sports the TV network covering the fight. The second weigh in as required by the IBF Championship Committee will be on Feb. 10 at 9.00 am in (Argentina time) to be supervise by IBF Supervisor Anibal Miramontes.
