BOBBY PACQUIAO KOs KEVIN KELLY IN 4TH!
By Dong Secuya PhilBoxing.com Sun, 11 Jun 2006

Moments ago, the Philippines' Bobby Pacquiao, younger brother of superstar Manny Pacquiao, knocks out former world champion Kevin Kelly in the 4th round at the Madison Square Garden in New York to successfully defend his WBC Continental Americas Super Featherweight Title.
Pacquiao dropped Kelly towards the end of the third round but Kelly stood up and was saved by the bell. In the 4th round, Pacquiao keeps firing away on his beleaguered opponent until Kelly was caught with a solid uppercut in the right rib cage that sent Kelly to the canvas for good. The end came at 1:24 of the 4th round.
The 25-year-old Bobby Pacquiao now improves his record to 27-11-3 with 12 KOs.
The 38-year-old Kevin Kelly, a native of Brooklyn, New York, who is in the twilight of his illustrious career, now drops his record to 58-7-2 with 39 KOs.
Pacquiao is undefeated in all his fights in the U.S. so far. He wrested his current title from Carlos Navarro in June last year at Table Mountain Casino in Friant, CA and followed it up with a big win against former world champion Carlos Hernandez last October at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. Pacquiao has one other won fight in the U.S. in July, 2004, against Oscar Villa of Mexico in Montello, CA.
