Kamil Laszczyk Scores Second Round TKO Over Emil Brooks, Wins Pro Debut

NEW YORK (March 4, 2011) - Six-time Polish national amateur champion Kamil Laszczyk of Wroclaw, Poland made March 4 a date to remember, as he scored a second round TKO over Emil Brooks (0-3) of Buffalo, NY to win his professional debut at the Cordon Bleu Banquet Hall in Woodhaven, NY.
The time of stoppage was 1:25.
Laszczyk, 20, is promoted by Global Boxing Promotions and trained by Aroz “Terrific” Gist.
“It was a great introduction to American boxing fans for Kamil,” said Global Boxing President and NABF female featherweight champion Maureen Shea. “He showed composure and fought a smart game plan. I feel there is a very bright future for the young man.”
Added Global Boxing CEO Mariusz Kolodziej: “He did a good job, great body work. That was a perfect performance and the best way to begin his professional career.”
Both Laszczyk and Brooks weighed 128 pounds. The four-round bout was promoted by New Legend Boxing Promotions.
