Marco Singwangcha’s scheduled defense of his Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF) superflyweight title against Ricardo Roa which was initially scheduled to take place in Lapu-lapu City has been transferred to the southern town of Dalaguete, Cebu.
Singwangcha will make the first defense of his title in this February 6 fight card. He was crowned PBF champion when he won by unanimous decision against Dondon Jimenea last September in Punta Princesa, Cebu City.
Flyweight prospect Marlon Tapales of Lanao de Norte will also see action against Charlie Cabilla in a non-title contest. Tapales won the Philippine lt.flyweight title last year with a 7th round TKO win over Warlito Parrenas but has since moved up in weight fighting at 112 and 115 lbs.
Also seeing action are PBF featherweight champion T.I. Yamagata Aguello versus PBF Lightweight champion Gabejan E. Singwangcha in a ten round non-title contest, Pumar Singwangcha vs Noel Adelmita (10 rounds ), Lobert Bayo vs. Christian Saga (6 rounds), Jerich Chavez vs Jayson Inso (6 rounds), Marlon Sandoval vs Henry Acha (6 rounds) and Bobbie Sentillas vs Jomar Torreon (6 rounds).
This fight card is promoted by Rex “Wakee” Salud, Aljoe Jaro and Thai promoter Naris Singwangcha.
