Lagumbay PhilBoxing.com Sun, 25 Apr 2010 HONGKONG--After a very successful stint in Dubai, which marked the return of professional boxing in the world's playground to the rich and famous, the ALA fighters are set to return to Cebu today with big victories and great experiences safely tucked in memory chest. The fighters are en route to Cebu accompanied by manager Michael Aldeguer, as well as ALA Promotions' Dennis Canete and Chad Canares. Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista, who carved out a fine stoppage win over Thailand's Saichon Sotornpitak, also expressed gratitude to especially to the organizers, led by Dubai-based promoter Zac Taumafai for holding the very successful show. "We hope our performances somehow justified the hard work and long hours spent by the promoter," said Bautista. With the victory, Bautista has lined himself for a possible big bout within this year, and he said he will keep himself in shape for whatever opportunity that may come his way. Milan Milendo, the world-rated wonderboy from Cagayan de Oro City now based in Cebu, says that the win in Dubai will only make him a more mature fighter.
