WBO FEMALE WORLD TITLE BOUT SET IN THAILAND PhilBoxing.com Sun, 21 Mar 2010 ![]() Bangkok, Thailand - One Songchai Promotions of Bangkok Thailand is gearing up for its highly-anticipated Female WBO World championship match-up between Thai female prospect Teeraporn Pannimit with a record of 9win-3loss-4ko against undefeated Interim WBC Female champion Eun-Young Huh 6win no loss of Korea. One Songchai Promotions, thru Mrs. Pariyakorn Ratanasuban, said that her female prospect is ready and well-conditioned for this world championship match. "First of all I wanted to thank WBO Asia Pacific Chairman Mr. Leon P. Panoncillo, Jr. and WBO President Mr. Francisco " Paco" Valcarcel for giving my female boxer and Thailand the opportunity. The World Boxing Organization has been very productive in Asia especially in the country of Philippines and Thailand that have put the WBO organization in their highest level of respect from promoters in this country." The match between Korea's Eun-Young Huh and Thai prospect Teeraporn Pannimit will be the WBO's first ever female world championship to be held at the Orient, and "we are very proud of this opportunity and it is surely shaping up to be a good one because we have promoted many WBO regional champions in the past year," explained Ratanasuban. Meanwhile, because of the WBO's strength in the region, organizers and promoters across the globe are wanting a part of the Female World Boxing Organization titles said Panoncillo. "It has been moving rapidly with interested promoters across the region wanting a piece of the titles." Currently, the WBO has crowned Female world champions across the globe such as, flyweight Susi Kentikian of Armenia, Featherweight Inar Menzar of Germany, Jr. Fly weight Yesica Yolanda Bopp of Argentina, Jr. Featherweight Ana Julaton of America and Welterweight champion Hanna Gabriel of Costa Rica among others. "We are very proud of our femae world champions and our President is encouraging more promoters who have female prize-fighters to vie for the crowns," said Panoncillo. This highly anticipated Female WBO World championship match at Thailand will be held at the Ayudhya Province televised live nationally through Thailand channel 7 TV network, sponsored by Bangpa Sheriff Mr. Nuthi Borsuwan on April 2, 2010 at Rachanuklao gymnasium School Ayudhya, Thailand. ![]() |
