Rex Marzan KO'd in Japan

Rex Marzan continued his losing streak as he was KO'd by Masato Arai of Japan last night. According to a report posted at BoxRec.com, Marzan was counted out at 1:26 mark of the 5th round of their eight round light middleweight encounter at Sowacho Gym in Ibaragi, Japan.
Marzan, who was a late substitute of Ramil Caballes who was originally booked to do battle with Arai, now suffered his 5th straight defeat since being knocked-out cold in the second round by Filipino knock-out artist Dexter Delada on January 30, 2004 at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu City.
Marzan, who hails from Misamis Oriental, now dropped to 14 wins, 17 loses and 1 draw with 7 KO's.
