Ang Kahalagahan ng Sports

Kumusta na po sa inyong lahat mga ginigiliw kong kababayan, fans at mga kaibigan. Sana ay nasa mabuti kayong kalagayan saan mang panig ng mundo kayo naroroon.

Katatapos ko lang matanggap ang ilan sa mga maraming parangal sa aking buhay bunga na rin ng marami kong tagumpay sa ibabaw ng ring noong isang taon. Lubha po akong nagpapasalamat sa inyong lahat at bawat award at recognition na aking natanggap ay taus-puso kong itatago sa aking isip at puso.


Masayang-masaya po ako at kasama ang aking pamilya, espesyal ang bawat isa sa lahat ng mga ito dahil sa pagkilala ng bansa at ng akademya sa mga ibinuwis kong sakripisyo mula pa noong ako ay bata pa. Naaalala ko, kahit na noong ako ay nagsisimula bilang isang amateur fighter, iilan lang ang kumikilala sa aking kakayahan kaya naman lalo kong pinagbutihan ang pagsasanay upang maging isang ganap at epektibong mandirigma sa ibabaw ng ring.

Nanggaling ako at ang aking angkan sa hirap. Malaking pagbabago na ang naganap sa aking buhay ngayon kapag ikukumpara sa buhay noon, kung saan walang pumapansin sa gaya naming mahihirap. Walang tutulong sa amin at alam ko ito. Kailangan naming tulungan ang aming sarili kung gusto naming umunlad at umasenso sa buhay.

Siguro, talagang pinagpala ako sa karamihan, dahil bukod sa mababa lang ang antas ng aking pinag-aralan, hindi pa ako masyadong marunong magsalita ng Tagalog at lalung-lalo na ang Ingles, pero hindi ko ito ikinahiya at bagkus ay ginamit ko itong hamon upang matuto at magsikap na mag-aral gamit lamang ang lakas ng loob at ang praktikal na pag-unawa sa mga bagay.

Pero dahil sa sports, natutunan ko na ang pagtitiyaga ay isa sa mga pinakaimportanteng bagay upang matuto at umusad sa career. Isa na rin diyan ang sipag at ang pagpupursigi na umunlad kahit na hindi sapat ang talento. Ang talento pala ay parang isang halaman na dapat dinidiligan upang lalong lumago at lumaki. Marami pang mga bagay ang naidudulot ng sports sa buhay ng tao at natutunan ko lahat ng ito sa pagiging mapagkumbaba.

Hindi pa rin ako nagbabago bilang isang tao at alam ko, sa oras na nasilaw ako sa mga parangal na ito at sa mga dulot nitong mga tukso gaya ng pag-abuso sa kapangyarihan, pera at sa pag-iisip na wala nang tatalo sa akin ay dito magsisimula ang pagbagsak ng aking career.

Alam ko, na ang sports ay isang importanteng bahagi ng pag-unlad ng isang tao dahil itinuturo nito ang disiplina sa sarili. Gaya ko, kapag nagsimula na akong magsanay para sa isang laban, buong puso kong ibinibigay ang aking sarili upang maabot ang isang layunin.

I know, nobody is perfect, that is why I strive everyday to become better as a person and as an athlete. I love to challenge myself that is why I end up getting better and better even if I am not perfect. Thank you very much to everyone because these rewards remind me of where I came from and what I could become in the future.
