TOUGH JOB FOR JOEL DE LA CRUZ AGAINST TERDSAK JANDAENG

PhilBoxing.com

It will not be an easy job for JOEL DE LA CRUZ come November 30th when he clashes with the veteran hard-hitting TERDSAK JANDAENG of Thailand at the Mandaue Sports Complex in Mandaue City for Daytime Boxing 2.

Terdsak Jandaeng fought the elites of the game including a fight with Steven Luevano, the WBO Featherweight Champion, on March 31, 2008 where he lost by unanimous decision. He also fought JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ for the Interim WBO Featherweight championsip on August 5, 2006 and lost by TKO on the 7th round. He fought Joan Guzman for the WBO Featherweight Eliminator on Aug. 26, 2005 and lost by unanimous decision.

Definitely, Joel de la Cruz will have his hands full in trying to outpoint Terdsak Jandaeng. De la Cruz carries a record of 11–5–1 4KOs as compared to the Jandaeng’s 31–3–1 21KOs. Last April 12, 2008, De la Cruz tried his luck in South Africa when he fought with Malcolm Klassen who has a record of 21–4–2 but was unsuccessful. His biggest achievement so far was when he scored a draw with Somsak Sithchatchawal, the former WBA World Featherweight Champion last September 14, 2008 at the Cebu Coliseum for the first DAYTIME BOXING in Cebu.

The November 30th, DAYTIME BOXING 2: THAILAND INVASION will open its gates at 8:00 a.m. and will start at exactly 8:30 a.m. This is a LIVE TELECAST VIA SATELLITE to be beamed to the neighboring Asian countries, like Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, etc. and to the whole country of 120 provincial cable networks through INTV and worldwide reach via www.live.intv.com.ph

The card is presented by SGG Sports Promotions in association with INTV – CCTN Cable Networks, Mandaue City Government, PAGCOR – CEBU, OMEGA BOXING GYM of IPI and the KOKIET GROUP of Thailand.

Tickets are reasonably priced at P500.00 for sponsor, P250.00 for ringside and P 100.00 for gen. admission. Please buy your tickets at the ticket booth only.
