Fire & Fury: Miel Fajardo, Ador Torres Battle for ABF Titles Dec 28 in Highland SpacePlus Show in Thailand

PhilBoxing.com

BANGKOK, Thailand -- World-ranked Miel Fajardo and tough Sorsogon combatant Ador Torres are en route to climbing the ring for thrilling action in the Kingdom of Thailand.

The two brave Pinoy warriors will be in harms way when they clash against dangerous Thai opponents in the televised Brico Santig's Highland Show at Bangkok's cozy SpacePlus Night Club, RCA Plaza, this coming December 28.

The action show will air live on Thailand's CHIC TV Channel 80, with fans outside Thailand able to watch for free from Highland Boxing's page in Facebook and YouTube (fights starting at 4 pm Philippine time).

The Hard-hitting Miel Fajardo (a.k.a "The Silent Assassin"), the promising 108-pounder world ranked in all four major sanctioning bodies, collides against Thai "KO Artist" Sarawut Jiamthong (7-2, 7 KO's), for the vacant ABF Continental Flyweight Title.

The Thai Sarawut - a man with a big tattoo on his chest and 7 KO's in 7 wins, against two setbacks - wants to scalp the fighter from Agusan del Sur.

World ranked Miel Flores and his Manager Monte Flores ready for action on December 28 in Thailand.

The Thai destroyer will indeed swing for the fences, wanting to make Miel Fajardo his KO victim #8. The Thai is conscious of his power, and wants to use it.

Knocking the Filipino out would get the 23 year-old Thai into the world rankings, Sarawut is conscious of that as well.

In fact, currently ranked as WBA#11, WBC #16, IBF#12 and WBO#14, Miel Fajardo is putting all on the line. All the eggs in one basket.

Sure, the Filipino has far much more to lose. All world rankings would be gone in a blink of an eye should Miel fall to the power of the young, heavy-handed Sarawut.

Will that happen?

Or will it be the 22-year-old Mindanao fighter the one to emerge victorious?

Miel Fajardo's manager Filipino-American Monte Flores is confident on Miel's skills, punching-power, and speed. They say yes!

The confidence is further enhanced after Miel's fantastic training camp, the physical strength that he has developed, his mental focus and the knowledge that Miel has already won tough battles overseas, specifically in China and Dubai, U.A.E.

"Miel has won all of his four fights abroad. He has won before, can win again," thinks manager Monte Flores, who besides boxing, works in he medical field in the U.S.A.

ADOR TORRES VS WATTANA NIAMSUWAN, ANOTHER TOUGH TEST FOR THE FILIPINO

Fresh from two consecutive KO triumphs, the friendly and affable Ador Torres (6-4-1, 3 KO's), born in Sorsogon, wants more wins.

Throwing punches at Ador will be Thailand's strong warrior Wattana Niamsuwan, 23, who also comes from a stoppage victory.

"I will do my best to get this win," assures Torres, a quiet 27 year-old southpaw who also competes in MMA wars.

"I want to advance my boxing career, become ABF Welterweight champion."

TOSHIHIKO ERA DEFENDS AGAINST SILEM SERANG

In another thrilling skirmish, Nippon tough combatant Toshihiko Era (8-1, 7 KO's), defends his ABF Flyweight Strap against the experienced Silem Serang, 33, of Depok, Indonesia.

Known for his slick moves, speed and heavy bombs, the Japanese born in Osaka, aims at a successful 3rd defense of the 112-pound ABF title that he conquered by overpowering Wichet Sengprakhon last March in Dubai, U.A.E.

Will the compatriot of Naoya Inoue be successful Wednesday night in Thailand?

AND MORE ACTION FIGHTS

The exciting show also features undefeated policeman/boxer "The Markhor" Shahir Afridi (5-0-1, 1 KO), of Karachi, Pakistan, trading knuckles against Jakkapan Sapathip of Thailand in a non-title 6-chapter battle in the Super Welter division.

In addition, India welterweight Khasaiar Ghassemi locks horns against fearless Thai Viroj Wanram in a six-round rumble.

The first bout of the evening will be an all-Thai affair: Featherweights Manat Sopatip and Thai compatriot Aphisit Kaenrot trade heavy artillery in a 6-episode struggle.

The exciting triple boxing show is promoted by award-winning Filipino promoter Brico Santig of Highland Boxing, in association with Thai man of boxing Supanat Chanram, Thailand Chic TV Channel 80, and Bangkok's Night Club boss Tony Chen, director of SpacePlus and The Mirinn Club.

The YouTube broadcast can be found in the Promoter's YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqE6EpYD4xD6RYC_0aWuppw

The Facebook and Youtube Telecast starts at 3 PM local Thailand TIme (4 pm in the Philippines, 5 pm in Japan, 3 pm in Indonesia)
