The Patriots came back so strong after losing to Cor Jesu, 86-97 in the elimination round.

The other Patriots are Audy Casayas, 5’10; Vincent Baban; 5’10; Gian Yaco, 5’10; John Sanchez, 6’3; and Froilan Palcis, 5’10.

"I told my players not to waste or squander the opportunity or chance given to us to reach the championship,” said SJP Patriots coach Howard Delgado.

It was the first invitational league won by the Patriots since the pandemic.

The Patriots received P50,000 while the Red Lions earned P30,000. The Agro-Industrial Foundation Colleges Sailors took third place to P20,000 while the Philippine Women's College Patriots finished fourth to get P10,000. Trophies were also awarded.

SJP is in Bracketed B of the ALDU Cup with MATS Navigators, Davao Merchant Marine Academy, Brokenshire College and University of Mindanao Tagum.

Bracket A are Jose Maria College, PWC, Davao del Norte State College, UM Davao and UM Samal.

DDNBL Commissioner and SanMan Sports Foundation Chairman Arman Sañano said the games will also be played in Panabo, Samal and Davao City.
