WBO Sponsors Gathering of World Champions in Arecibo, Puerto Rico

The World Boxing Organization (WBO) held it's annual summer gathering of world champions and sports personalities today at the beach house of former World Champion Samuel 'Torbellino' Serrano in the Islote neighborhood of Arecibo, Puerto Rico.
Former three-division ruler Wilfredo 'Bazooka' Gómez as well as former titlists Alfredo Escalera, Alberto Machado, Alex 'El Nene' Sánchez, Nelsón Dieppa, Iván Calderón and John John Molina were among those who attended the festivities.
Also present were the current WBO Junior Flyweight world champion Jonathan 'Bomba' González, former world title contender Wilfredo Rivera, prospect Jamaine Ortíz, female amateur stars Kiria Tapia and Tatiana Ortíz and debutant Aneudi Colón.
During the activity, veteran trainer Félix Pagán Pintor received a well-deserved tribute for his long and storied career in boxing.
