EntroBox and Bally Sports successfully kicked off their championship boxing series Saturday, March 26 at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, FL.

All Bally Sports Entrobox Championship Boxing fight cards air live on Bally Sports Network, the Bally App and Display TV.

In the main event, featherweight Otabek “Bruce Lee” Kholmatov became the WBA’s number one contender following a dominant decision victory over previously unbeaten Andranik Grigorian. Khamatov stymied Grigorian with an excellent jab and body shots throughout the contest.

Scores were 118-110 and 119-109 twice. Kholmatov, who resides in Hollywood, FL and is originally from Uzbekistan, is 10-0 with 9 knockouts. Grigorian, a Miami Beach, FL based Armenian, falls to 14-3 (3 KO’s).

In the co-featured bout, Yamaguchi Falcao, 21-1-1 (9 KO’s) became the NABA Gold super middleweight champion by defeating ultra tough Damian Bonelli, 24-11 (20 KO’s) of Argentina. Falcao, a 2012 Olympic Bronze Medalist for Brazil, showcased his world class boxing skills but Bonelli had his moments and displayed a tremendous chin.

The official tallies were 99-91, 98-92 and 97-93.

Junior middleweight Anthony “ATV” Velazquez, 11-0 (10 KO’s) of Springfield, MA demolished Argentina’s Sergio Castellano, 11-9 (7 KO’s). Velazquez ended Castellano’s night with a vicious left hook at the end of the second round.

Heavyweight hopeful Norman “Pooh” Neely of Paterson, NJ bested rugged Puerto Rican Hector Perez in an eight round contest. Neely displayed solid all-around skills but Perez had his moments in the fight as well.

Scores were 80-72, 79-73 and 78-74 for Neely, who is 11-0 with 8 KO’s. Perez slips to 7-4 (3 KO’s).

Local favorites Sean “Untouchable” Mason, a lightweight from Altamonte Springs, FL and cruiserweight Adrian “Pretty Boy” Pinheiro of Orlando both kept their perfect records intact with second round knockouts. Orlando welterweight Jeovanny Estela, 7-0 (2 KO’s), won when Ruque Junco, 10-10-1 (6 KO’s), was disqualified for excessive holding.

“This card had a great mix of local and international talent,” said Amaury Piedra, Managing Director of Caribe Royale. “The energy in the venue was great and everybody had a great time. We’ve got a number of cards lined up with Bally Sports Network and Entrobox throughout 2022 and into 2023 and the events are only going to get better.”
