Wesley So is First World Official Fischer Random Chess Champion

US based Filipino Wesley Barbasa So outplayed world No. 1 and classical World Champion Magnus Carlsen of Norway, 13.5-2.5, en route to win the inaugural FIDE World Fischer Random Chess Championship at the Henie Onstad Art Center in Norway on Sunday (Saturday in Norway time).
