PACQUIAO IS NOW RATED RING #10, TBRB #8, AND BOXREC #10 POUND-FOR-POUND

With his very impressive win over Keith Thurman, which several fans and reporters considered as a unanimous victory, three of the top five boxing rating entities included Manny Pacquiao in their top ten ratings.

The Ring, considered as The Bible of Boxing, the most prestigious rating establishment of all, rated Pacquiao at No. 10 of the top pound-for-pound fighters.

The Transnational Boxing Rankings Board (TBRB), an all-volunteer initiative whose members are independent professional journalists, boxing historians and record keepers from around the world, rated Pacquiao at world No. 8 pound-for-pound.

BoxRec or boxrec.com, a website dedicated to updating records of professional boxers, ranked Pacquiao at No. 10 in its pound-for-pound list.

The other two top organizations which did not rate Pacquiao among its top ten are ESPN and BWAA. ESPN (Entertainment and Sports Programming Network) is an American sports media conglomerate including cable channels, a sports radio network, and an accompanying website, while Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) which promotes better working conditions for boxing writers, as well as hold its writers to the highest professional and ethical standards.

The Ring top 10 pound-for-pound fighters are:
1. Ukraine's Vasyl Lomachenko, 13?1 (10 KOs), WBA (Super), WBO and The Ring lightweight champion
2. United States' Terence Crawford, 35?0 (26 KOs), WBO welterweight champion
3. Mexico's Canelo ?lvarez, 52?1?2 (35 KOs), WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, The Ring, lineal middleweight, and WBA (Regular) super middleweight champion
4. Japan's Naoya Inoue, 18?0 (16 KOs), WBA (Regular) bantamweight champion
5. Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk, 16?0 (12 KOs), WBC, IBF, WBO, The Ring and lineal cruiserweight champion
6. United States' Errol Spence Jr., 25?0 (21 KOs), IBF welterweight champion
7. Kazakhstan's Gennady Golovkin, 39?1?1 (35 KOs), middleweight
8. Mexico's Juan Francisco Estrada, 39?3?1 (26 KOs), WBC, The Ring and lineal super flyweight champion
9. United States' Mikey Garcia, 39?1 (30 KOs), Lineal super lightweight champion
10. Philippines' Manny Pacquiao, 62?7?2 (39 KOs), WBA (Super) welterweight champion
