By Rene Bonsubre, Jr. PhilBoxing.com Sun, 05 Aug 2018

Undefeated prospect Carl Jammes Martin (9W-0L,8KO?s) of Lagawe, Ifugao will face Huerban Qiatehe (7W-1L-2D, 2KO?s) of China in Plaza Bayombong, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya on August 6.
This will be a defense of Martin?s WBO Oriental Youth bantamweight title. The 19 year old Martin has acquired a collection of Philippine and regional belts in his two year pro career ? the Luzproba, Philippine Boxing Federation (PBF),WBC ABCO, and WBA Asia titles. He won the vacant WBO Oriental Youth 118lb division title last April when he stopped Tanzanian Hashimu Zuberi in two rounds at the Lagawe Central School Gym.
The 19 year old Qiatehe is a familiar face in the ?Major League Boxing? series in China, which is promoted by SECA and TOP RANK. Qiatehe?s last two opponents were both stopped in two rounds.
The official weigh-in was held Sunday at the Bayombong Town Hall and supervised by Antonio Comia. A video of the weigh-in uploaded by the Ifugao Amateur and Professional Boxing Promotions announced that Martin weighed 117lbs while Qiatehe was at 115lbs.
