Mark 'Magnifico' Magsayo (18-0, 13KOs) was brought into the full route by the durable and tough Japanese Shota Hayashi (30-7-1, 8KOs) in the main event of Saturday's 'Pinoy Pride 43: Battle in Bohol' at the Bohol Wisdom Gymnasium. The undefeated Magsayo, ranked No. 2 in his division, won by unanimous decision over Hayashi to retain his WBO International featherweight title. Judges Edward Ligas, Edgar Olalo and Tony Pesons had identical scores of 116-112 in favor of the Boholano.

Albert Pagara downs Mohammed Kambuluta.
In the featured undercard, Albert Pagara (29-1-0, 20KOs) sent Mohammed Kambaluta (16-4-0, 5KOs) of Tanzania to the canvas two times en route to a stoppage win at 2:29 of the second round. Pagara has now won his third straight after absorbing his only loss against Cesar Juarez in July, 2016.
