PhilBoxing.com

Top welterweight No. 4-ranked Jorge Masvidal and surging bantamweight No. 2-ranked Julianna Pena will ascend on Singapore to join in UFC Fight Night Singapore?s fight week activities.

SINGAPORE ? Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fans in Singapore and the region can look forward to an exciting week as UFC?, the world?s premier MMA organization unveiled its star-studded line-up of guest fighters for the highly-anticipated UFC FIGHT NIGHT? SINGAPORE: HOLM vs. CORREIA, taking place June 17 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Leading the lineup is fan favourite Jorge ?Gamebred? Masvidal (32-12-0). The No. 4-ranked in the UFC welterweight division, Masvidal is a highly-rated 14-year veteran coming fresh from his main card bout at the UFC 211, where he battled #1 Demian Maia in a spectacular grappling display.

A leading fighter in the welterweight division, Masvidal?s presence in Singapore will serve as added motivation for Rafael Dos Anjos, Colby Covington, Tarec Saffiedine and Dong Hyun Kim as they set their sights on scaling the tightly contested welterweight division.

Adding to the all-star cast of women fighters is No. 2-ranked bantamweight ?The Venezuelan Vixen? Julianna Pe?a (9-3-0). Making her name as one of the best female competitors in the world, Pe?a boasts a 4-1 record, which includes impressive wins over Cat Zingano and Jessica Eye. She is hotly tipped to pursue the newly announced featherweight division on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter.

Commenting on fighter appearances, Joe Carr, Senior Vice President of International and Content at UFC said, ?Having top names like Masvidal and Pena engage with fans in Singapore will ensure they get the full UFC Fight Week experience.?

In the lead up to UFC Fight Night Singapore, guest fighters will be taking part in numerous activities including MMA clinics, Q&A at the weigh in, fan meet and greets, and engagements at the UFC Experience on Fight Night.
